Shaun and William were both placed on Kickstart Scheme placements as IT Technician Assistants at Ysgol Uwchradd Caergybi in April this year.
Both Shaun and William were out of work, therefore came to Môn CF after suggestions from their work coach and family members. Prior to the placement, Shaun had previously worked for the NHS and William had never been in employment.
As part of the Kickstart Scheme placement, both have attended training courses for personal development including a Fire Safety course and Health and Safety at Work course.
Howard, the head of IT at Ysgol Uwchradd Caergybi said “both boys have been absolutely great and have really made the most of the opportunity, William’s confidence has gone up by 100% since starting and Shaun can’t do enough to help and is always being proactive and looking to see how he can assist with things.”
They would recommend anyone in the same position to come to Môn CF for the guidance, support and knowledge of the company and both are incredibly grateful for all the assistance they have had.
