One Môn,
Many Voices
One Môn, Many Voices is a new initiative which seeks to empower individuals from underrepresented groups living on Anglesey.
We are looking for people with real lived experience to become part of a new advisory group. The group will help us shape the future of inclusive employment on Anglesey.
Real change starts with listening.

Lets make Anglesey a better place to work for everyone!
Many people on Anglesey face additional barriers and challenges simply because of who they are.
These barriers can prevent people from finding meaningful employment, accessing essential services, and feeling like a valued part of the community.
National data shows us that discrimination, lack of awareness, and exclusion are still real issues for many people across the UK.
Our mission is to make Anglesey a great place to work, for everyone!

How to get involved
There'll be plenty of things happening in the One Môn, Many Voices project!
Here's how you can get involved right now!
Join our advisory board!
You can join a small advisory group made up of local people from different backgrounds. As part of the group, you’ll help start conversations, share feedback, and be a positive role model — helping to build trust and confidence across our communities.
Spread the word!
Share the project with people that you know. They can be someone who is affected by daily barriers orfall within one of the protected characteristics listed above.
The project is open to everyone - if you siomply want to champion a great cause, get involved too!
How we'll do this together

Conversations & workshops
We’ll hold regular friendly sessions, in-person or online, in accessible places across the island. These will be safe spaces where people can share their experiences and suggested actions for improvement. Sessions will be run with support from local community members to make sure everyone feels comfortable. Some sessions will focus on topics like jobs, accessing services, or digital skills.
Pop-up activities
We’ll also meet people in everyday places like libraries, town centres, and local events. These informal chats will help us hear from people who might not attend organised sessions.
Keeping you informed
We’ll regularly share updates on what’s happening and how your input is making a difference - you said, we delivered. Wherever possible, we’ll work together to design solutions and activities, so the project truly reflects what people need.
