Wena Jones, 56 from Caernarfon secures role at Protec Physiotherapy

Wena had been out of work since 2018, due to looking after her husband who was diagnosed with head and neck cancer. After a few years, her husband’s health improved, and she was able to think about returning to work. Wena felt that she wanted to change career from her job as an examination assessor as it was quite stressful - having been out of work for a number of years, she didn’t know where to turn to.

Môn CF secured Wena a placement with Protec Physiotherapy as an Administration Assistant. Wena expressed that she had felt anxious at the thought of returning to work, but she felt so comfortable with all of the staff who have helped her on her journey back to work. From her first meeting with Teresa and Katie, to having help and assistance from Rees and Carys as she started her placement - she said “I can’t thank you enough, everything has been so easy since joining Môn CF.”

Her husband also happened to start his new job on the exact same day that she started hers, so the timing was great. Carys recently caught up with Wena, she said: “The job and the hours are perfect, I get to cycle to work, life is perfect, it all seems too good to be true, Môn CF have changed my life!”
