Ffion Roberts is enjoying her new role at Rondo Media in Caernarfon, a welcomed career change after 6 years of working as a Sales Advisor in a car garage. Ffion came to Môn CF wanting help to find a full-time position that linked well to her Business Degree. Ffion worked as a Sales Advisor in a car garage where she had worked for 6 years. Ffion was keen to find employment within an Administration or Finance post and wanted support and guidance from a mentor with job applications and interview skills. “I came to Môn CF because I wanted a change of role. I had been in the same job since I graduated from University and felt I was ready for a new environment. I started to apply for new jobs on my own accord, but I wasn't getting much success with getting through to interview stages. I decided to contact Môn CF to see if they could help improve my CV and to help prepare me for interviews. I hadn't attended an interview since University so confidence played a big part for me. I wanted support and guidance to put me on the correct track.” Following a successful job application, Ffion was invited to interview with Rondo Media. Ffion’s mentor helped her prepare for the interview by discussing interview skills, techniques and considering what questions the interviewer may ask. Ffion was successful at interview and secured a full-time role as a Finance Assistant with Rondo Media, based in Cibyn, Caernarfon. Rondo is an independent multi-genre production company producing content for a wide range of broadcasters in the UK and beyond. “I am really enjoying my new job. I'm learning new things and the role definitely relates to my degree in comparison to my previous job, which is what I wanted. I have enjoyed meeting new people and developing new skills as well as improving current ones. I'm also much happier in myself too, outside of work.” “I would definitely recommend Môn CF to anyone that wants to take that next step, or to even develop new skills. The best thing I did was contact M֧ôn CF, I believe I would still be working unhappily in my previous role without their support and guidance.” We wish Ffion the best of luck in her new career!
