Chef de Partie

£27,500 base salary + overtime + tips.

We are recruiting on behalf of an independent, family-owned restaurant in Valley who offer a unique dining experience. They are currently looing for a passionate Chef de Partie to join their busy team.

Job Overview

This role involves running your own section in a busy kitchen, preparing fresh food to a high standard and supporting the wider team during service. You’ll handle daily prep, maintain a clean and organised workstation, and work closely with the Head Chef to ensure dishes are delivered consistently. It’s a hands‑on position suited to someone who enjoys fast‑paced kitchen work and takes pride in producing quality food.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in line with established recipes and presentation standards.

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations of the restaurant.

  • Assist the whole team in the smooth, safe and efficient running of the kitchen operation.

  • Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene standards, reporting any issues promptly.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen at all times.

  • Assisting with stock rotation.

  • Monitor stock levels.

Requirements

  • Understands allergens, hygiene, and safe working practices.

  • Previous experience of working in a busy kitchen environment 

  • being able to stay calm under pressure and maintain standards
