Chef de Partie
£27,500 base salary + overtime + tips.
We are recruiting on behalf of an independent, family-owned restaurant in Valley who offer a unique dining experience. They are currently looing for a passionate Chef de Partie to join their busy team.
Job Overview
This role involves running your own section in a busy kitchen, preparing fresh food to a high standard and supporting the wider team during service. You’ll handle daily prep, maintain a clean and organised workstation, and work closely with the Head Chef to ensure dishes are delivered consistently. It’s a hands‑on position suited to someone who enjoys fast‑paced kitchen work and takes pride in producing quality food.
Responsibilities
Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in line with established recipes and presentation standards.
Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations of the restaurant.
Assist the whole team in the smooth, safe and efficient running of the kitchen operation.
Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene standards, reporting any issues promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen at all times.
Assisting with stock rotation.
Monitor stock levels.
Requirements
Understands allergens, hygiene, and safe working practices.
Previous experience of working in a busy kitchen environment
being able to stay calm under pressure and maintain standards
