Responsibilities
- Provide expert, tailored advice to local farmers on crop agronomy and livestock health.
- Conduct regular farm visits to assess soil health, environmental impact, and yield potential.
- Guide clients through the complexities of Welsh agricultural grant schemes and regulations.
- Organize and deliver educational workshops and demonstrations for the farming community.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest agricultural technologies, research, and best practices.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Agriculture, Agronomy, or Rural Land Management.
- FACTS and/or BASIS qualified is highly advantageous for this advisory role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Welsh agricultural sector and current farming subsidies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and long-lasting relationships with the farming community.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for frequent farm visits.
