Level 3 Forestry First Aid

Service Description

Learners will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills needed to treat a range of injuries and diseases that could occur in outdoor environments, such as Lyme disease and catastrophic bleeding. The half day course covers topics on forestry specific first aid which meets Forestry Commission recommendations. Upon completion, the certificate is valid for 3 years. What's Covered on the Course? - Extreme cold - Extreme heat - Treatment of Adder snake bites - Catastrophic bleeding, including: Direct pressure, Tourniquets, Haemostatic agents - Crush injuries - Lyme disease
