Service Description
Please note, in order for this course to take place, a minimum of 6 learners are required. Rabbits and moles can cause serious damage to crops and lawns if not properly managed. This training course equips you with the practical skills needed to trap and manage these animals using non-chemical methods. You'll develop the ability to create and execute effective control strategies. Whether you're new to pest control or looking to refine your trapping techniques, this course offers valuable insight and hands-on guidance. By the end of the session, you will be able to: • Identify rabbits and/or moles and the typical symptoms of damage caused. • Identify the degree and source of the infestation for rabbits and/or moles. • State the legislative obligations and responsibilities relevant to the control of rabbits and/or moles. • Describe the lifestyles, habits and habitats of rabbits and/or moles. • Plan, implement and monitor an effective control programme for rabbits and/or moles. • Select and carry out the most appropriate methods of rabbit and/or mole control, in line with current legal guidelines and recognised good practice. • Ensure that all control operations safeguard humans, creatures, plants and the environment.
