Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality.
- Design innovative, seasonal menus utilizing locally sourced North Wales produce.
- Manage kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain strict control over food costs.
- Ensure full compliance with all food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-quality restaurant environment.
- Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3 or above) and deep knowledge of HACCP.
- Proven ability to manage kitchen finances, including food cost and labour margins.
- Strong leadership skills to inspire, train, and retain a dedicated kitchen brigade.
- A genuine passion for utilizing and celebrating local Welsh produce and seasonal ingredients.
