Responsibilities
- Manage end-of-life nuclear decommissioning projects from planning through to execution.
- Ensure all activities comply with stringent nuclear safety and environmental regulations.
- Oversee specialized contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams on site.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, progress reports, and regulatory submissions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Substantial experience working within the highly regulated nuclear or heavy engineering sectors.
- Deep understanding of decommissioning processes, waste management, and site remediation.
- Strong project management credentials, such as PRINCE2 or APM qualifications.
